PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a active matrix type display device in which the number of displayable gradation is not limited even when light emission luminance is changed and the changing of luminance is possible easily and a highly accurate multi-gradation display is possible. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a light control signal generating circuit generating a light control signal specifying the display luminance of the device and a voltage source supplying a voltage corresponding to the light control signal to light emitting elements in the display device in common. |
