PURPOSE: A muffler is provided to efficiently separate dust from exhaust gas by making the exhaust gas flowing into a muffler in a constant pressure and to completely remove dust, sulfurous acid gas, carbon monoxide, NOx and SOx by making the exhaust gas pass through a diaphragm in the muffler. CONSTITUTION: In a muffler(52), one end of an intermediate diaphragm(34) is fixed on the wall of the muffler. The diaphragm divides a first unit(60) connected with an exhaust gas inlet port(10) and a second unit(62) connected with an exhaust gas outlet port(12) to form an exhaust port(54) on the wall of the muffler. A cylindrical body(36) has a shaft head(20) rotating by being combined with a shaft mounted by the combination of control panels(26,28,30) with a bearing. Non-powered fans with blades(14) are formed in the cylindrical body. An upper diaphragm(38) and a lower diaphragm(40) are placed on the inner wall of the muffler at a specific interval to be cross with each other. The exhaust gas inlet and outlet ports are directly connected to the cylindrical body. The exhaust gas has an expansion force by the centrifugal force generated by the rotation of the blades, and the expansion force has a swirling descending force due to the centrifugal force of the lozenge-shaped first non-powered fan. The exhaust gas pushed toward the wall of the cylindrical body is discharged through exhaust ports(32) formed between the first control panel(26) and the cylindrical body. Herein, the exhaust gas is changed to be in a constant pressure state by the cyclone effect generated by the non-powered fans. While passing through the diaphragms, the exhaust gas is purified with rapidly changed flow. Therefore, purifying efficiency is improved.
