PURPOSE: Provided is a multi-step foldable umbrella comprising an umbrella keeping case and a rainwater collecting case, which can be carried easily and hygienically without dropping of rainwater and unpleasant smell of the umbrella. CONSTITUTION: The umbrella composed of a multi-step foldable pole(3) and a rib assembly(1) has a circle or polygon shaped umbrella keeping case(6) made of synthetic resins and a rainwater collecting case connected to the bottom of the handle for collecting the rainwater fallen from the umbrella keeping case. The umbrella keeping case for receiving the folded umbrella includes a bottom tube of the umbrella pole, a grip(7) with a push button(7a), and an opening and shutting cap(8) connected to a fixing ring at the upper surface of the case.
