PURPOSE: A supporter of a gas range is provided to save fuel and cooking time and to prevent an accident by isolating the combustion part of a gas range from the external surroundings. CONSTITUTION: In a gas range, external isolating layers(1) with many air holes(2) and heat discharge holes(3) are installed around the combustion part in gradual height. The air holes and heat discharge holes are placed to be cross to each other to protect the combustion part from such external surroundings as wind and air conditioning. An insulating material(4) is formed on the side of the outermost external isolating layer to prevent loss of heat. As flames are unexposed to the external surroundings, the flames are protected and a cooker is heated concentrically. Thereby, cooking time is saved with maximized thermal efficiency. Moreover, degradation of air conditioning efficiency due to the heat is avoided.
