PURPOSE: A feeding device for a surface mount device is provided to variously supply components onto a PCB(Printed Circuit Board) by installing tape feed assemblies and to improve the mounting speed of the components. CONSTITUTION: Tape feeder assemblies(200,202) are installed to simultaneously or sequentially supply electronic components onto a PCB(Printed Circuit Board). The tape feeder assemblies are composed of plural slide plates(16,18,20), plural slider blocks(10,12,14) moving forward and backward along the slide plates, a mount(28) and a fixing rod(30). The mount and the fixing rod are fixed between the slider blocks for plural tape feeders storing plural electronic components to be installed. Thus, operation time is decreased by simultaneously supplying the electronic components stored in tape feeders(32) with the two tape feeding assemblies as one group. One feeding device supplies the electronic components while the other feeding device receives the electronic components. Thus, production is continuously performed without stopping the equipment.
