WATER REPELLENT FOR TREATING FABRIC MATERIALS

PURPOSE: A process for preparing a water repellent for processing fiber base material by fermenting natural stone, a microorganism and ethanol using enzyme is provided, which produces the title water repellent capable of imparting high water repellence, excellent dry cleaning resistance and soft feeling. CONSTITUTION: The water repellent is prepared by a process consisting of : impregnating a mixture of 1Kg serpentine, mica or phlogopite with 500 to 800g mineral water for 2 to 3 days; mixing 500 to 800g microorganism and ethanol (spirit); and aging for 1 to 4 weeks. The subject product contains 0.1 to 1:99 to 99.5% by weight of the obtained liquid ceramic.
