PURPOSE: A server system which succeeds an event winning to a reserve person, a method for increasing an event participation rate and recording media read through a computer which records a program capable of performing thereof are provided to increase a ratio of an event participation on an offline by an on line activity by deciding a prizewinner and a reserve person among a plurality of event applicants, and by succeeding an event winning to the reserve person according to a concessive determination of the prizewinner. CONSTITUTION: An interface which sets an event is provided to an event promotor connected to a web server of a businessman(S200). The event promotor sends an URL of a page relevant to the event setup using a mailing list(S300). An event participant who confirms the event connects to an event page through the URL(S400). The event promotor decides an event prizewinner and a reserve person(S500). The event prizewinner feedbacks information to the event promotor.
