PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal that can realize an effective power-saving function even in the case of a configuration where digital signals can be used for signal isolation. SOLUTION: On the occurrence of a prescribed caused to power-saving transition in a usual operating state, the operation of a channel interface circuit and a network control signal processing section is continued, on the other hand the operation of a device configuration including a MODEM processing section not requiring the operation in the power-saving operating state is a stopped to transit to the power-saving operation. The network control signal processing section processes an incoming call signal from an analog channel via the channel interface circuit and a digital interface in the power-saving operation to restart the operation of each section having been stopped and to restore to the normal operating state.
