PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material for tag from which thick tags used by passing bundling bands therethrough can be obtained by continuous printing and the four corners of the tags can be hemed. SOLUTION: This belt-like material consists of a long-sized belt-like base material 16 for forming the plural tags 14 and allows writing of printing displays 50 for identification by continuously printing the plural tags 14. The tags 14 are continuously printed in respective tag regions 14A by detecting marks 22 for detecting the printing position command of the belt-like base material 16 by an optical detecting means 34. The respective tags 14 are formed by cutting the belt-like base material 16 for every notch-like selective cutting marks 18 and 18' by means of a cutter 48. The notches 18A and 18'A are the hemming parts for the tags 14.
