PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cold keeping storage where a liquid refrigerant or lubricant does not stagnate within the refrigerant pipe of an evaporator. SOLUTION: The refrigerant pipe 10 of a POS(pipe on sheet) type of evaporator, to be piped in the inwall of the goods-storing chamber C of a cold keeping storage 1, is divided into a measuring part 10' which shifts downward while meandering right and left, a refrigerant introduction part 10a which connects the starting points (upstream point) of the meandering part 10' with an expansion valve, and a refrigerant leading-out part 10c which connects the terminus (downstream point) E of the meandering part 10' with a compressor 20, and the meandering part 10', which substantially functions as an evaporator, is composed of downward inclined parts 10b which are inclined so that the refrigerant may go down in the direction of refrigerant stream and a circular turn 10b' which connects the downstream end D of the upper downward inclined parts 10b and the upstream end U of the under downward inclined parts 10b, adjoining each other above and below, with each other.
