PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently carry out the crosslinking reaction of a siloxane resin in the production of an electrophotographic photoreceptor having a siloxane resin layer on the electrically conductive substrate, to produce an electrophotographic photoreceptor having the resin layer and excellent in strength characteristics and electrostatic characteristics, to obtain a coating fluid composition used in the production and to provide an electrophotographic image forming method using the photoreceptor, an electrophotographic image forming device and a process cartridge used in the device. SOLUTION: The coating fluid composition contains at least one of an organosilicon compound having a hydroxy group or a hydrolyzable group and its condensation product, an electric charge transferring compound having a reactive group and 0.01-20 wt.% metallic chelate on the basis of the amount of the electric charge transferring compound. A siloxane resin layer having a crosslinked structure is formed on an electrically conductive substrate by applying and drying the coating fluid composition and the objective electrophotographic photoreceptor having the siloxane resin layer on the electrically conductive substrate is produced.
