PURPOSE: A system is provided to charge parking fees at the outdoor parking lot preventing problems related to fees from arising and enable remote control of the system, and diversify the paying methods ranging from cash to credit cards. CONSTITUTION: In a system charging parking fees, n number of parking areas have each own sensor(211) connected to the own parking meter(200). All the information gathered by the parking meters(200) are delivered through communication interfaces to a main controller(300). And the information collected and processed by the main controller(300) is sent to a host computer(400) through a communication modem for up-loading. Control programs made on the host computer(400) are down-loaded to the main controller(300). And the main controller, in turn, adjust each parking meter(200) corresponding to the changed program. |
