PURPOSE: A communication terminal of multiple mode and a method for changing RF module are provided to make a user use the wanted mode selectively by making the change of the mode possible with equipping the RF module to the communication terminal. CONSTITUTION: A communication terminal of multiple mode and a method for changing RF module include a few progresses. In the first progress(S10) the kind of the RF module is assigned through a key input instrument. In the second progress(S20) it is confirmed if the information about the input RF module is stored or not. In the third progress(S30) it is confirmed if the input RF module is equipped or not. In the fourth progress(S40) the RF module is driven when the input RF module is equipped to the communication terminal. In the fifth progress(S50) the RF module changing signal is sent to the user when the input RF module isn't equipped to the communication terminal. In the sixth progress(S60) it is confirmed if it is changed into the input RF module or not.
