PURPOSE: A high speed recursive least square method for continuous time adaptive filtering is provided to use a recursive least square method and to reduce amount of calculation insomuch as least mean square method. CONSTITUTION: A high speed recursive least square method is used for continuous-time adaptive filtering in an analog transversal filter structure. The first part of the filter structure is composed of a low frequency pass filter having the cut-off frequency higher than a cut-off frequency of an interested system. The second part of the filter structure is composed of a band pass filter by which a signal is passed through the first part and the second part of the filter structure without loss of power to form a high-order filter. Algorithm of recursive least square form make the filter structure have rapid convergence speed. Therefore amount of calculation is reduced insomuch as least mean square method. |
