PURPOSE: An electron gun for color Braun tube is provided to control easily a characteristic between a horizontal direction and a vertical direction of an electron beam. CONSTITUTION: An electron gun for color Braun tube comprises an electrode(24) for forming an electrostatic lens by an applied voltage signal. The electrode(24) is formed with a circular shape. The electrode(24) comprises one or more aperture portion(25). The electrode(24) is loaded in an inside of a focus electrode for focusing an electron beam and an inside of an anode electrode for accelerating the electron beam. The aperture portion comprises a circular hole and a vertical direction depression hole(31) for controlling a vertical focus distance of the electron beam.
