PURPOSE: A cordless device for combing a terminal function with a base function in a DECT(Digital Enhanced Cordless Telephone) system is provided to combine the terminal function with the base station function, and to use the combined functions, so as to perform communication between terminals without base stations. CONSTITUTION: A CPU(11) controls entire operation of a cordless device combing a terminal function with a base function in a DECT(Digital Enhanced Cordless Telephone) system. A terminal/base processor(12) stores programs for a terminal and for a base station, and combines the terminal function with the base function to operate the cordless device. A RAM(Random Access Memory)(13) temporally stores data of the CPU(11). An EEPROM(Electrically Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory)(14) stores a setup parameter of the CPU(10). A key scan(15) interfaces with a user by a key button. An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display)(16) outputs data processed from the CPU(10). An RF(Radio Frequency) module(17) converts the data of the CPU(10) into a cordless signal to receive the cordless signal, and converts the received cordless signal into the data to transmit the data to the CPU(10). The first ROM(Read Only Memory)(21) stores the program for the terminal. The second ROM(22) stores the program for the base station. The first logic sum element(23) performs a phase inversion for terminal/base station mode selecting signals to receive the terminal/base station mode selecting signals, and receives control signals for selecting the first and second ROM(21,22) to perform a logic sum for the control signals, then outputs a performed result to the first ROM(21). The second logic sum element(24) receives the terminal/base station mode selecting signals, and receives the control signals to perform a logic sum for the control signals, then outputs a performed result to the second ROM(22).
