PURPOSE: A method for registering and servicing caller information in a mobile communication system is provided to offer a receiver a caller's number as well as a designated ring and a moving image for increasing a convenience and providing various services to the receiver. CONSTITUTION: A date verifying registered pertinent subscriber received by a character transmitting system(320) from a character information system(340) and caller information indicating service system(400) is sent to a mobile phone(700,800) via an exchange(120) and a base station(200). The caller information indicating service system(400) send caller information message to a mobile telephone subscriber via a telephone number designated by the subscriber in a given format(for example, telephone number, name, alias, moving image and ring). The system(340) processes the registered pertinent subscriber data generated from the system(400) in a suitable form and transmits it to the system(320). An internet web server(500) send the data message to the mobile phone and a radio data system(600) send the caller information indication service date to the phone. The data from the system(400) is stored in a memory(not shown) in the phone(700,800).
