PURPOSE: A push-pull type antenna for a cellular phone is provided to enable a user to easily draw up and push down an antenna of a cellular phone by an automatic mechanism. CONSTITUTION: Instruments(1,2), which are mounted to the top and bottom portions of a body of a cellular phone, are provided. A sponge(3) for absorbing an impact is mounted under the upper instrument(1). An antenna(4) passes through the sponge(3) and the upper instrument(1). A contacting part(5) is fixed between the antenna(4) and an insulator(6). A spring(11) is elastically mounted between the insulator(6) and a guide(10) on the lower instrument(2). A button is movably mounted to the insulator(6), and includes a fixture which is inserted or released into/from a groove of the instrument(1). An elastic piece is formed at the insulator(6). As the button is pushed or not, the antenna(4) is elongated or received in the phone body by the elastic piece being released from or caught on a stepped portion.
