PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image-forming device capable of precisely detecting the developer residue quantity inside a developing container and also the developer residue quantity when developer is nearly exhausted with a simple configuration. SOLUTION: This image-forming device is provided with an image carrier 7, a means to form a latent image on the image carrier above and a developing device C that is provided with a developing means 9 to develop the latent image formed on the image carrier 7 above, by feeding developer to it and a developer containing part 11A, where the developer utilized for developing the latent image formed on the image carrier 7 above by the developing means above 9 is stored. Then, the developer quantity inside the developing device C detected by utilizing two or more developer quantity detecting devices different in detecting method. |
