<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the throughput by avoiding insertion of an octet/bit for a communication block not needing insertion of the octet/bit so as to reduce a transmission amount of data in the case of communication adopting the PPP. SOLUTION: In the case of transmission of data from a DTE2 to a DTE14, the DTE2 inserts an octet/bit to the data and transmits the resulting data. A DCE converts the data, with a PPP frame configuration and to which the octet/bit is inserted, into data, with an enhanced PPP frame configuration and to which no octet/bit is inserted. A gateway NW converts the data, with an enhanced PPP frame configuration and to which no octet/bit is inserted, into data, with a PPP frame configuration and to which the octet/bit is inserted. After the data conversion, the gateway transmits a signal including the data after the conversion to the DTE14. The DTE eliminates the octet/bit similarly to the case with a conventional system.</p> |
