REPAIRING METHOD FOR HEAT EXCHANGER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for repairing an aluminum heat exchanger with stabilized quality without requiring an expensive facility by repairing a hole in a tube at an aluminum core section in a short time. SOLUTION: A recess 15 is formed by hammering the periphery of a hole 14 in the tube at an aluminum core section 10 comprising a plurality of tubes 4 and corrugate fins 5 laid in layers. The recess 15 is formed to have a diameter 2-20 times as large as the diameter of the hole 14 and a depth of 1-8 mm. Outflow of acryl based adhesive 13 having a shorter hardening time than epoxy based adhesive is prevented by applying it by a specified thickness (e.g. 5 mm) to the recess 15 and in the corrugate fins 5 on the periphery thereof.
