PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stepping motor control method capable of driving a stepping motor accurately from the low-speed range to the high-speed one with no possibility of stepping out, without using sensors which include an encoder or a resolver. SOLUTION: A phase angleθis detected from an induced voltage vector E due to the counter electromotive force of a stepping motor S. A relative angle of a stator winding to the magnetic pole of a rotor is obtained from the phase angle to perform the closed-loop control of a stepping motor S. The detection of the phase angleθis effected by calculating an induced voltage vector E for every constituent of each axis for the a stator axis, that intersects at right angles and by taking the arc tangent of the calculated ratio of the constituents of each axis. |
