PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a service device capable of satisfactorily dealing with respective automatic vending machines at the time of the occurrence of any failure or the change of setting without requiring much labors or time. SOLUTION: At the time of attaching a freely attachable/detachable IC card 2 for manufacturing maker service to the automatic vending machine, a program in the IC card 2 can be executed on the IC card 2, then the automatic vending machine can be processed. Only when a service staff attaches the IC card 2 for the maker service to the automatic vending machine, a judging operation or setting changing operation for repair corresponding to the automatic vending machine can be attained. Thus, functions other than specifications corresponding to the consumers of the automatic vending machine can surely and temporarily be added without requiring much labors or time.
