PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for measuring an electromagnetic shield performance which can efficiently measure an electromagnetic shield performance over continuous frequency ranges without making though holes or running a coaxial cable in a building. SOLUTION: A transmission antenna T and a receiving antenna R are placed facing each other with an object W to be measured interposed, and an electromagnetic wave in a range of frequency to be measured is repeatedly swept and outputted by the transmission antenna T. Further, the range of frequency to be measured is swept and received by a spectrum analyzer S2 connecting to the receiving antenna R without synchronizing the frequency of electromagnetic wave swept and outputted by the transmission antenna T, and an intensity value of electric field in the frequency range is stored and recorded in a memory of the spectrum analyzer S2.
