摘要 PURPOSE: To optimally control the fuel injection amount and ignition timing by determining accurately the volume efficiency or ignition timing in accordance with the changing amount when the opening/closing timing of a suction/exhaust valve changes. CONSTITUTION: A fuel control parameter or an ignition timing parameter is calculated on the basis of the suction pressure and engine speed, and the fuel injection amount or ignition timing is controlled. When the valve timing changes, the amount of change is detected, and the fuel control parameter or ignition timing parameter is corrected on the basis of the change amount for every detected value of plural detected values for the change amount of valve timing, the fuel control parameter or ignition timing parameter is stored as predetermined data pieces on the basis of the suction pressure and engine speed. The fuel control parameter or ignition timing parameter has a point having the maximum changing rate relative to the change amount. The data of the fuel control parameter or ignition timing parameter are predetermined for every change amount corresponding substantially to the point of the maximum change of the changing rate.
