PURPOSE: A mail inputting and sealing system is provided to promptly handle mail, to apply into a multiple purpose, and to simplify structure. CONSTITUTION: A system for putting and sealing mail comprises an envelope input device(10) inserting an envelope into each device; an enclosed article depositing device(60); a document depositing port(101) leading an outputted document from a printer by interlocking with the printer; a document folding device unit(80) folding the document and the enclosed article; an envelope cover opening device(30) opening a cover of the envelope to lead in the document; a water apply unit(50) applying water onto the inner face of the envelope cover; and an envelope discharge unit(90) discharging the envelope after sealing. The mail handling operation is automatically performed from leading the document in the envelope to discharging and sealing the enclosed article.
