PURPOSE: A kocher for mountaineering and a production method thereof are provided to prevent the loss of flame by forming a heating portion recessed inwardly on the bottom face of the kocher and to save fuel and cooking time by expanding an area contacting heat. CONSTITUTION: In a kocher, a cover(20) is opened and closed on an upper part of a case body(10) made up of a bottom surface(1) and a side wall(2). A circular arc shape heating portion(4) recessed inwardly on the bottom surface of the case body is formed. The diameter of the heating portion to an outer diameter of the case body is formed at the ratio of 4:10 to 8:10. The height of the heating portion is 3 to 15mm. Herein, the flame generated from a heater(H) is positioned to the heating portion so that the flame contacting the surface of the heating portion is concentrated within the range of the diameter of the heating portion. Thereby, the loss of heat emitting to the outside is minimized.
