PURPOSE: A method for performing an alarming in a base station transceiver system is provided to set up Pin information by a user, so as to perform the alarming by the user's operation, without adding a Pin by a manufacturer or without allocating an additional code. CONSTITUTION: If a mode selection for alarm setting is performed, a data manager(FLMX)(121) reads presently-stored alarm data. The read alarm data is outputted through a UI(User Interface)(122). The data manager(FLMX)(121) checks whether key data for data editing is inputted. If so, the data manager(FLMX)(121) inputs corresponding alarm pin number information and alarm information, and stores the data with a memory map.
