PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve contrast of the display pattern by making most of the reflection of external light regular reflection components and removing most of the reflection of external light using a polar screen. SOLUTION: A polar screen 15 is mounted on an outer surface 2a of a insulating and transparent substrate, and an anode 3 made of a transparent electrode is formed as a film on the inner side of a substrate 2. An insulating layer 4 covers the anode 3, in such a way that segments of the display pattern are sectioned. An organic layer 6, including a light emitting layer covers the anode 3 sectioned and exposed by the insulating layer 4, and a cathode 7 made of a metal electrode, is formed as a film with segments of the display pattern on the organic layer 6. At the same time, an electrically insulated metal thin film 8 is formed on the area except for the light-emitting area of the cathode 7 and a wire 7a. A sealing member 10 is sealed in the outer surrounding part of the substrate 2 to protect an element 9 on the substrate 2. A water catch agent 11 is included, facing the element 9, on the inner surface of the sealing member 10. |
