PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic head, the manufacturing method and a magnetic recorder capable of stably doubling a generation magnetic field by accurately controlling the recess amount from a medium opposing surface of a main magnetic pole, an auxiliary magnetic pole, a coil and a return yoke by a fine amount with excellent reproducibility. SOLUTION: A magnetic element in a thin film shape is laminated on a thin film provided parallelly to the medium opposing surface and this magnetic head is constituted. Further, the thin film is provided with an opening and formation is performed so as to provide a tip part extended to the opening on a part of the main magnetic pole. In such a manner, the recess amount from the medium opposing surface of the magnetic element in the thin film shape is highly accurately controlled and the projection amount of the main magnetic pole tip part is also extremely finely and precisely controlled by the film thickness of the thin film simultaneously. As a result, recording magnetic field strength at the main magnetic pole tip part is increased to an ultimate value and the head capable of performing recording to the medium of high holding power coping with high density is provided. |
