PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct adaptive control of a weight given to each antenna element of a down link based on up link arrival angle information independently of a quantity of the difference between incoming and outgoing frequencies with respect to a communication unit employing an adaptive antenna applied to a wireless base station of a mobile communication system or the like. SOLUTION: The arrival angle information of each user is extracted from information of a user signal of an up link, a simulated user signal corresponding to each antenna branch is generated based on the arrival angle of a desired user, and a weight of a down link applied to the respective antenna branches is controlled through an optionally adaptive algorithm by using the simulated user signals.
