PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the distortional deformation of a drum at temperature rising and to make the drum light in weight while ensuring the strength thereof. SOLUTION: This drum 1 is produced in such a manner that a cylindrical member 2 comprising CFRP is formed by an FW method, an end wall member 10 comprising CFRP is formed by using a method of pressurizing and heating many pieces of chip-like prepreg and the end wall members 10 are mounted on the openings of both end parts of the cylindrical member 2. In circular wall parts 11 of the end wall members 10, plate-like prepreg is piled up over the chip-like prepreg, pressurized and heated. In rim parts 12 of the end wall members 10, short cylinder-shaped prepreg is piled up over the chip-like prepreg, pressurized and heated.
