PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate communication in a virtual space. SOLUTION: A URL is made to correspond to a category and stored in a category DB 13. Each time a user speaks the URL on a conversational system such as an IRC, the category corresponding to the URL is specified, made to correspond to the user and stored in a user information DB 14. When an entry of the information DB 14 is provided with available hours, a profile reflecting a current state of the user can be prepared. The information DB 14 can also be provided with rating information as well as the category. It is possible to facilitate the communication in the virtual space by processing speech in a channel on the basis of the rating information and the user category.
