PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode for an oxide superconductive current lead capable of preventing the deterioration of electrode characteristics and improving the electric resistance stability of an electrode connection. SOLUTION: An electrode is formed by compression bonding taped or wired metal materials 3, 3, 3,... such as silver materials, which have flexibility, no influence on superconductive characteristics and small electric resistance, to metal bonded portions 2, 2 which have surface metal portions formed by giving silver flame spray to the ends of cylindrical or columnar oxide superconductors 1.
