PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide laminated cores for an electric motor that make it possible to improve quality by eliminating the slide of sides that occurs to the turning part of divided core pieces and to reduce its manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: These stacked cores for an electric motor are each provided with an annular yoke 40 at outside and a magnetic pole 39 that protrudes from the yoke 40 toward inside. The yoke 40 is divided by the unit of the magnetic pole 39 to form a stacked segment body 41. Also, a first and second connecting plates 11, 13 are provided at right and left alternately on first and second divided core pieces 12, 14 neighboring each other in the vertical direction of the stacked segment body 41. The stacked segment bodies 41 are each mounted pivotally in such a way as to be movable and separable at a given portion. Cutouts 32, 34 for preventing the side circumference of the first and second divided core pieces 12, 14 of the stacked segment bodies that are arranged at neighboring positions in the turning are formed at the end of the opposite side of the first connecting plate 11 of the first divided core piece 12, and the end of the opposite side of the second connecting plate 13 of the second divided core piece 14.
