PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric tweeter whose sound pressure is large and whose reproducing band is wide. SOLUTION: A piezoelectric tweeter 10 includes an oscillator 12 in the shape of a rectangular plate. The oscillator 12 includes a diaphragm 14 in the shape of a rectangular plate. Piezoelectric elements 22a and 22b each in the shape of a rectangular plate are adhered respectively to both of the principal surface of the diaphragm 14. In the neighborhood of the node part of the diaphragm 12, a support plate 18 is formed at the diaphragm 14 via ribs 16. The plate 18 is supported by a buffer material 44, a pressing member 48, a screw 52 and a base 54.
