PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend the dynamic range of a subject having wide illuminance in a television camera capable of executing accumulated high sensitivity operation. SOLUTION: A 1st video signal based on electric charge obtained from an imaging device for accumulating charge obtained by photoelectric conversion and exposed and accumulated for a period longer than an one-field period is recorded, a 2nd video signal based on charge obtained from the imaging device and exposed and accumulated for the one-field period or a period shorter than the one-field period is recorded and these recorded 1st and 2nd video signals are combined.
