PURPOSE: A method for preparing a dry polishing agent for a barrel finishing machine is provided which reduces production costs and maximizes a polishing efficiency and luster. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of: (i) boiling 9-11 wt.% of stearic acid, 0.3-0.4 wt.% of paraffin wax and 6-8 wt.% of insulating oil up to the temperature of 200 deg.C; (ii) 1 minute after adding 4-4.5 wt.% of a jell state oleic acid to the step (i), pouring 15-17 wt.% of petroleum thereinto and then pouring 3-4 wt.% of water thereinto when the temperature goes down to about 100 deg.C; (iii) when the temperature goes up to about 200 deg.C, putting out a fire; (iv) stirring the step (iii) with a bar or a stirrer to form paste; (v) when the temperature goes down to about 80 deg.C, adding 55-65 wt.% of alumina oxide powder thereto and stirring the mixture for about 2 hours and then leaving it at room temperature for about 12 hours; and (vi) stirring again the step (v) to prepare a polishing brightener. |
