PURPOSE: A valve for water purifier is provided to prevent burn or waste of water due to misoperation by a small child by adopting a rotation type not a simple press but push type in a method for opening and shutting the purifier valve, reduce the manufacturing cost and conveniently used by the public by simplifying the structure thereof. CONSTITUTION: A rotation type device for opening or shutting the valve of water purifier (10) comprises a housing (12) having purified water inflow and outflow ports connected with a body of the water purifier; a valve means such as a packing closing the inflow and outflow ports by elasticity of a spring; and a lever means opening or closing the valve means against elasticity of the spring, wherein an operation path of the lever means is a rotation type.
