POLL BASE UNIT OF TAPE RECORDER

PURPOSE: A poll base unit of a tape recorder is provided to install a full eraser head on the poll base to have a magnetic tape guide function and a data erase function, so that a structure thereof can be simplified. CONSTITUTION: A pair of poll bases(300,400) are installed to be movable along a guide groove(101) mounted in a deck(100). Stoppers(510,520) stop the movement of the poll bases(300,400). A full eraser head(310) instead of a guide roller(410) is installed on one of the poll bases(300,400), and simultaneously performs an erase function and a magnetic tape(T) guide function. The stopper(510) of the poll base(300) mounting the full eraser head(310) has a terminal unit(511) connected to power(600). When the poll base(300) is contacted with the stopper(510), a terminal unit of the full eraser head(310) is connected. Currents are supplied to the full eraser head(310) through the terminal units. The power(600) is controlled by a controller, therefore currents are selectively supplied only when an erasing operation is necessary through the terminal units are mutually connected.
