PURPOSE: A funnel of a cathode ray tube is provided to prevent a damage of a moil portion when manufacturing a funnel and improve deflection sensitivity of electron beam when deflecting the electron beam. CONSTITUTION: A funnel of a cathode ray tube comprises a main body(31), a cone portion(32), a moil portion(33), and a neck portion(35). The cone portion(32) is connected with a lower portion of the main body(31). The moil portion(33) is formed at an end portion of the cone portion(32). The neck portion(35) is bonded to the moil portion(33). The neck portion(35) is formed with a cone shape. A thickness of the moil portion(33) is thicker than it of the neck portion(35). An inside diameter of the moil portion(33) is less than it of the neck portion(35). An outside diameter of the moil portion(33) is more than it of the neck portion(35).
