Switching system to establish communication between terminals in a communication network without using the Internet network involves tasks associated with each terminal

Method involves : creation of a task for the terminal calling stocked in its reference unit; task send a signal through the network carrying information such as number of the calling terminal and type of connection to the network; called terminal creates task in response, which interacts with the configuration control unit to determine which gateway must be used to link both terminals without using the Internet network. Switching system comprises controlling unit (11-13,21-25,30) controlling many terminals (32-36,40-43). An Independent claim is also included for the switching system using the method previously described.
