PURPOSE: An automatic operation controller of a rolling load sensing device is provided to always maintain a normal state, to prevent a stop of processes at a defect and to improve the quality of a product and the reliability of the load system. CONSTITUTION: An automatic operation controller comprises an excitation voltage abnormality detecting unit containing a first comparator, a first switching element and a first photoswitch; a source voltage abnormality detecting unit containing many comparators, switching elements and photoswitches; main signal amplifiers (221,222) and auxiliary signal amplifiers (321,322) to amplify fine outputs of first/second load sensors (211,212); main/auxiliary amplifying units (250,350) to amplify outputs signals of main/auxiliary controllers (240,340) respectively; a control driver to selectively operate the main controller and the auxiliary controller by the abnormality of the photoswitches; a comparison detecting unit containing a second comparing photoswitch; and a double load switching unit to multiply an output signal of the main signal amplifier or the auxiliary signal amplifier according to operations of the first/second comparison photoswitches. A production is not stopped by continuously measuring a load of a cold rolled steel sheet, measuring the abnormality of the load sensors and automatically switching to a double load.
