PURPOSE: A method for embodying a lock function in a mobile radio terminal is provided to automatically lock by measuring a reception electric field strength between an ear phone and the cellular phone. CONSTITUTION: A Bluetooth module(210) includes an RF transmitting unit(211), an RF receiving unit(212), a baseband processing unit(213) and a link control unit(214). The baseband processing unit(213) and the link control unit(214) are connected to a cellular phone control unit(221) by an HCI(Host Control Interface), for transmitting/receiving HCI packets. Accordingly, the control command and transmission/reception data are transmitted/received therebetween. The HCI packets are divided into command, event and data packets. A cellular phone unit(220) includes a cellular phone control unit(221), a memory(222), a key input unit(223), a display unit(224), a BBA(BaseBand Analog)(225), an RF transmitting unit(226), an RF receiving unit(227) and a duplexer(228). Here, the cellular phone control unit(221) controls the whole operations of the cellular phone. In addition, the cellular phone control unit(221) measures a reception electric field strength by using the Bluetooth module, and sets up a lock function when the reception electric field strength is below a predetermined level. When the ear phone is separated from the mobile radio terminal by a predetermined distance, the lock function is automatically performed.
