BROADBAND APERTURE COUPLING MICROSTRIP PATCH ANTENNA

PURPOSE: A broadband aperture coupling microstrip patch antenna is provided to improve a band width of the antenna and to easily provide power. CONSTITUTION: A microstrip patch(1) is formed on a lower surface within the first dielectric(2). A conductor(4) is formed to separate from the microstrip patch(1) at a predetermined distance. The conductor(4) also has an aperture(5) made to supply power to the patch. A low dielectric(3) is located between the microstrip patch(1) and the conductor(4). A ground surface(4) is formed to separate from the conductor(4) at a predetermined distance. A line for supplying electric power(6) is formed between the conductor(4) and the ground surface(4). Additionally, the line for supplying electric power(6) is connected with a transmitting/receiving device so as to provide a signal to the aperture(5). Second dielectrics(7,8) are formed between the conductor(4) and the ground surface(4) to cover the line for supplying electric power(6).
