The body (1) of the tapping insert incorporates, in correspondence with one of the extremities of the classical groove (4) for temporally coupling of the knife or guillotine (6) which closes the insert during the dismounting operation of the drilling bit and until the definitive implantation of the derived pipe, a small bolt (7) acting as a rocking axis for said knife or guillotine (6) which is provided at its extremities with a small bent protuberance (9), as a hook, for its hinged junction to the bolt (7), and at its opposite extremity a handle (10) for its manipulation during the rocking operation with a lever movement which provides for a more comfortable and fast closing operation requires less efforts. A seal is incorporated to the body (1) of the tapping insert which is intended to be mounted coaxially and externally to the same, thereby closing said groove (4) after removing the knife (6), said seal being embodied as a plastic ring having a certain deformation capacity. |
