The weighing device has a housing provided with a base (1) and a rear structure (2), acting as the base surface and the rear wall of a wind shield, enclosing the weighing platform (4) on all sides, together with a front panel (5), 2 movable side panels (6,7) and a top slider (8), which are moved between the open and closed positions by hand or via an electric motor. The frameless front panel is exclusively secured to the housing base, the upper slider displaced relative to the rear structure via linear guide rods (11) and the side panels (6,7) attached to the rear structure to prevent tipping.
