The invention concerns weldable flexible polymer material prefabricated in thin sheet, slab or panel form for producing stretched structures such as in particular false ceilings, said single or multiple layer material, such as for example plasticized PVC, comprising a print produced by ink jet or screen printing of at least one design whereof the shapes and dimensions, after the material has been stretched, are predetermined. The invention also concerns the method for producing a stretched false ceiling from said material, comprising a first step which consists in selecting the types, dimensions and arrangements of the monochrome or polychrome design(s) to be printed, said designs being digitised and recorded in a computer storage unit of a system controlling a printing machine, the printing capable of being produced on several welded strips of material, and in particular perpendicular to abutted welding zones of said strips, before or after said welding. |
