PURPOSE:To improve the electric insulation property or the electric insulation property and the rust preventive property of metallic magnetic powder and a magnetic substance which is molded of this. CONSTITUTION:The cover layer of alkaline silicate is provided at the surface of metallic magnetic powder. The said powder provided with a cover layer is molded into a magnetic material. The compacted magnetic substance is soaked in alkaline silicate solution in vacuum, and then it is taken out and dried, whereupon the rust preventive property improves further. |
