Homogeneous pigment preparation, which does not form dust, contains /- 40 wt.% effect pigment(s), 0.5-59.5 wt.% styrene-modified maleate resin with an acid number over 90 mg KOH/g, 0.5-50 wt.% water and/or organic solvent (mixture), 0-10 wt.% neutralizing agent and 0-10 wt.% modifier. An Independent claim is also included for dry preparations made from this preparation by tableting, briquetting, pelletizing, fluidized bed granulation, granulation, spray granulation or extrusion and optionally removing the solvent.
